Ritz-carlton hong kong Literally reaching for the sky when it comes to luxury living, the Hong Kong, due to open in March 2011 will be the latest 5-star brand to claim the title of "Highest Hotel in the World." Wresting the crown from the current top-spot holder, Victoria Peak, which faces the hotel from across Victoria Harbour. Located on the 102nd to 118th floor of the International Commerce Center in Kowloon, the views are guaranteed to be stunning (check out this amazing panorama from CNNGo, and that's just from the lobby!). According to Hotelsmag.com, other super deluxe features that will be ensuring the Ritz-Carlton's all-round ultra-luxury status include a rooftop bar, a swimming pool with a ceiling made entirely of LCD screens, and a gym, all on the 118th floor. A 12-room ESPA spa on the 116th will feature floor-to-ceiling windows to suck up those incredible views, and six "destination dining experiences" and 312 pimped-out guest rooms will occupy the rest of the superlative space occupied by the Ritz. For the lesser mortals among us, the ICC will also host an observation deck on the 100th floor. [showtime]
