Chinese national day, PRC 60th anniversary parade One week from today, Friday, October 1st, the  October holiday begins with a bang. The celebration marks the anniversary of the founding of the PRC. Be on the look out for fireworks and massive displays of nationalism across the country, with the biggest and baddest party in Beijing.  Take a few days off, relax and revel in the shadow of mighty, modern China. Thanks to for this perfect shot. Be sure to check out's Flickr photostream,  where you can find pictures from all over the world, some that are just as fly as the one featured here.
