Ctrip Ctripper posts come to us directly from the good folks at Ctrip, China's top online travel services provider (and proud sponsor of ChinaTravel.net). Stay tuned for Ctrip special offers, travel tips, news on new travel deals, tours and activities, and slices of life-in-China from Ctrip staff and interns. Here's the latest addition to the Ctrip brand .... >>> Some of you may be wondering about the new little addition to the Ctrip logo that has begun popping up all over the site. Well, it's time for you to meet Yoyo, the Ctrip dolphin. You’ll be seeing and hearing much more from Yoyo in the future as we bring exciting new changes to the way you travel China and travel the world! So stay tuned…. A few words about the new Ctrip logo After celebrating our 10th anniversary, we decided that it was time for a new logo. We’ve kept the classic Ctrip look and feel—we certainly aren’t ones to mess with success—while adding three new elements that represent the exciting new changes we’re bringing to the way you travel. The first, of course, is Yoyo. Like you, Yoyo is a world traveler. And like dolphins the world over, Yoyo is quick, smart, helpful and, most of all, fun. And unlike your average dolphin, Yoyo has a special talent for finding incredible deals on flights, hotels, activities, cruises and more. But seriously, we see Yoyo as our global representative, bringing news of Ctrip’s world-class service standards and fast, convenient booking platforms (English website, English-language call center, and mobile devices). Not to mention fun and adventure—Yoyo reminds us of the reasons we love to travel in the first place! Which brings us to our final logo change. We’ve lost the arrow that used to grace the “i” in “Ctrip,” replacing it with a simple circle that reminds us of a bright sun shining over a future full of adventure. We hope you’ll join us.
