yoyo halloween Emotions were high in the Ctrip.com office last week as employees bedecked in colorful clothing celebrated Ctrip's 11th birthday. There were violins, flowers and clowns plus prizes for the most colorful stars of the day (congratulations Emily!) and of course the introduction of Yoyo, your new travel-friendly dolphin pal. On the technical front, we've got the introduction of some exciting new mobile software with an updated Chinese iPhone app and new Android and Symbian client software now available, making it easier than ever to connect with Ctrip for all the latest deals and travel news. Chen Bing continues her tales from Tibet; this week she discovers the cure for altitude sickness and a bumpy 9-hour detour: Yamdrock Lake. The lake was so beautiful that it literally took what little breath she had left away, along with her upset tummy and the various bumps and bruises she had developed on the ride up. See for yourself, here. Last but never least, we meet Dorothy Chen whose role is to get busy digging deep into international tourism data. A soft spot for home hasn't stopped her traveling spirit and if she has her way, one day she'll be touring the world in a helicopter filled with comfy green sofas.
