Ctrip Ctripper posts come to us directly from the good folks at Ctrip, China's top online travel agency (and proud sponsor of ChinaTravel.net). Stay tuned for Ctrip special offers, travel tips, news on new travel deals, tours and activities, and slices of life-in-China from Ctrip staff and interns. Here's Emily, our lovely host, bringing you the best Ctrip has to offer. Always! .... >>> Oh hey there. As your official guide to everything Ctrip, it’s only right for me to share a wee bit about myself. Like the infamous Coley Dale, I hale from the US of A - San Francisco, California to be exact. But despite my American mailing address, Asia has always been more of a home to me. Yep, all together I have been an expatriate for 15 of my 25 years, with 3 in Thailand, 9 in Hong Kong and now almost 3 in Shanghai. I joined Ctrip in January 2010 and immediately set out to tackle the complicated new world of social media. Facebook page? Check. Twitter account? Check. Mustache contest? Double Check! A Blog was next … Fast forward a few months and here we are, fresh off the launch of the Ctripper. In addition to offering you guys a new forum for questions and comments about Ctrip deals & policies, my goal is to give you a real look into the culture over here at Ctrip English. With over 6,000 of our card carrying Ctrip employees (including the Chinese team) over here at headquarters, there really is never a dull moment, and lucky you, you get all the highlights. Happy reading!
