Ctrip Ctripper posts come to us directly from the good folks at Ctrip, China's top online travel agency (and proud sponsor of ChinaTravel.net). Stay tuned for Ctrip special offers, travel tips, news on new travel deals, tours and activities, and slices of life-in-China from Ctrip staff and interns. Here's an insider's look on how China's top travel agency celebrated Thanksgiving .... >>> [showtime] Living in Shanghai, there are a number of traditionally "American" things I miss. Thanksgiving is probably at the top of that list. When that third Thursday of November rolls around, my mouth starts watering for my mom's homemade stuffing & my dad's perfectly carved turkey. Thankfully (is that a pun? I can't even tell ...), this year Ctrip decided to give the handful of Americans in the office a little treat by throwing our annual English department party in honor of Thanksgiving. We had a turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and even a pumpkin pie! And chicken wings ... The team came together for lunch and spent part of the afternoon playing fun (and slightly embarrassing) games, like charades and balloon stomp, and finished off with a celebratory glass of champagne. Check out the slideshow for some highlights!
