Ctrip Ctrip just held a competition where they asked each department to come up with a visual representation of its "working culture and environment" by decorating walls or columns around the office. The English Department put our decoration on a tall column and designed it to look like a 3D notebook. On one side, we put a collage of workmate photos taken while traveling, working or during team building parties. The opposite side is all about our work. We decided to stick all our IT requests and project schedules to this side of the wall and update the progress, so all our workmates are able to know exactly what's happening on our website and when new features might be ready. It's both dynamic and extremely convenient. Unfortunately, we didn't win the competition, but our "Culture Wall" is going to stay there all the time and will continue to record how we grow up as a team together with the development of our English website.
