Gan bei, China! And for that matter: Cheers, Skaal, Salud, Prost, Santé, Kampai, & Oogy wawa (yes, we speak Zulu)!

In just a few short weeks, crowds of beer thirsty tourists will flow into the streets of Qingdao demanding that sweet nectar. That’s right, on August 14th, the 2010 Qingdao International Beer Festival kicks off up on the shores of Shandong Province. Asia’s largest beer festival attracts breweries from all over the world, and this year the list includes Bittberger from Germany, Heineken from Holland, Pabst Blue Ribbon from America, and of course China’s own Tsingtao brews, among many more. The two week festival is jam-packed with beer tastings, concerts, rides, karaoke and even a few chugging contests. If you plan on heading up, don't forget to pack your swimsuit because aside from the beer, Qingdao is also full of beautiful beaches, making it the perfect place to work on that summer tan. But how do I get there? Where do I stay? Hi, we’re Ctrip and we are taking you to the Beer Festival. We’ve got some great prices on flights & hotels right now, but they’ll be selling out quickly so better book soon!
