Hong Kong Mong kok Anton Hazewinkel After yesterday's Little Meimei gun-toting madness, today's photo is somewhat more somber and peaceful. The chap on the left has picked out what looks to be the comfiest option in a line-up of straight-backed chairs to wait out whatever it is he's waiting for. Godot perhaps? (More after the jump... ) I love the lines and near symmetry, as well as the sense of time standing still in this image by Beijing-based Dutch photographer Hong Kong's Mong Kok district, this is just one of his entries in the Ctrip China Travel Photo Contest, but Anton has many more great images that capture Chinese daily life both on the streets and in portrait sessions. Check them out on his Flickr photostream or at his Anton Hazewinkel website. Got some great some China travel photos?
