Shanghai's Vue Bar at Hyatt on the Bund offers one of the most spectacular views of the city's most famous panorama. Situated at the northern tip of the Bund, it takes in an unhindered and dramatic curve of the Huangpu River that makes the bright lights of Lujiazui stand out like an island of pulsing neon. This stunning wide angle shot comes to us via the Ctrip China Travel Photo contest from Arnaud Vanderplancke. A keen amateur photographer he got his first camera in December 2006 and he's been snapping away ever since. Having studied economics in Belgium, moving to China has provided the perfect opportunity for him to combine career and hobby—with its rising economy and photogenic countryside, it's been a great place for him to gain the experience that he now shares by teaching photography on the weekends. To see more from Arnaud, head over to his Flickr photostream and have a look around .
